Philadelphia Trip – Philadelphia Photographer

Written by Morgan Bellinger on August 1st, 2010

Dinner at Midway at sunset.

Jen sipping some of my beer at Eulogy Belgian Tavern, at Penn's Landing.

A bee in Northern Liberties, a neighborhood near Fishtown, where we stayed.

Greensgrow Farm - home of the finest cinnamon roll I've ever had.

Having a beer before the tour at Philadelphia Brewing Company. We had no idea what we were getting into.

My girlfriend Jen and I went to Philadelphia to see some friends and do some exploring. I brought one lens with me.

It was at least 90 degrees (F) in here, thanks to the oven, and more humid than anywhere else on the trip.

The Philadelphia Brewing Company tasting room.

Making a sandwich at Rocket Cat, a little cafe in Fishtown.

A free concert in University City.

One more from the concert - a performer. We headed over to Distrito after the show for an awesome prix fixe dinner.

Aaron with his niece.

We spent an afternoon at Longwood Gardens, in Kennett Square. This is a building near the entrance to the gardens.

Another Jen, in a Longwood Gardens treehouse.

There are acres and acres of flowers at Longwood - it's a set of formal and relaxed gardens that's been around for centuries.

Kids playing in a fountain in the conservatory.

We moved into the conservatory as a thunderstorm exploded abruptly over the valley.

I like using reflections to equalize exposure, especially in places as gorgeous as this.

A stormy lilypad courtyard.

More flowers.

Ask me about my air extension tube trick.

Waving goodbye from skates.

Jen cooling her feet.

A visitor at the Philadelphia Magic Gardens.

The Philadelphia Magic Gardens is a space dedicated to preserving mosaics by Isaiah Zagar and was a great place to stop along South Street.

Another mosaic shot. I always feel awkward photographing other artwork - it's humbling.

We went to Palmyra Cove Nature Park - this is a cove on the Delaware River.

Taken on the train to the airport.
